Clovers Bury Horsemen Wire-to-Wire
Charlotte dominated from tip-off, rolling to a 21-point win behind a balanced offensive night that Delaware never answered.

Charlotte rolled Delaware 106-85 on Sunday, leading from the opening possession and never letting the Horsemen sniff a comeback. Three Clovers players scored at least 15 points, and the collective plus-minus among Charlotte's top four rotational pieces read like a ledger of dominance: plus-6, plus-13, plus-17, plus-9. This was not a game decided by a run in the fourth quarter. It was decided early, and it stayed decided.
The turning point, if you can call it that in a wire-to-wire result, came in the way Charlotte's defense suffocated Delaware's best scorers before they ever found rhythm. Hare Jordan finished with a team-high 21 points on 8-of-17 shooting and four threes, but his minus-16 plus-minus tells the real story. Beast DaSneak added 17 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 assists in 34 minutes, yet finished minus-15. The Horsemen's two most productive players were individually productive and collectively irrelevant.
Point Goddess led Charlotte's stat sheet with a 15-point, 12-rebound, 5-assist line, going 5-of-12 from the field and a perfect 4-of-4 at the free-throw line while committing zero turnovers in just under 26 minutes. Goddess also blocked three shots, making her one of the cleaner two-way performances of the night. Kelly Kapowski gave Charlotte its most efficient scorer: 18 points on 7-of-8 from the field and 4-of-5 from three, finishing plus-13 with no turnovers and no free-throw attempts needed. Kapowski's shooting didn't just fill a stat column; it stretched the floor and kept Delaware's defense scrambling to close out.
Baller #41 chipped in 17 points and 10 rebounds on 6-of-11 shooting, ending plus-17, the best mark among any player on the floor. Trifolium rounded the rotation with 10 points, 9 boards, and 5 assists on four-of-five shooting. Charlotte had five players in double figures and spread its 106 points across a roster that played like it had spent the week scouting this exact game.
Delaware has no obvious corrective for a night like this. The Horsemen were outworked on the glass, out-executed in transition, and out-coached in the halfcourt. Charlotte has no season context attached to this win yet, but if this kind of efficiency becomes a pattern, the Clovers are going to be a problem for a lot of teams.
