Omaha Pulls Away from Miami
Balanced scoring and a plus-17 second unit helped the Bullsnakes cruise to a 103-91 win over the Tentacles.

The Omaha Bullsnakes beat the Miami Tentacles 103-91 on the strength of a deep, efficient offensive night, with four players finishing in double figures and none needing to carry an outsized load. The Bullsnakes shot with purpose when it mattered, converting on enough mid-range and three-point looks to build a cushion Miami could never seriously threaten.
The turning point came in the second half, when Omaha's bench rotation put the game to bed. GG no RE, working the glass relentlessly, finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds on 6-of-18 shooting, but the line undersells the impact. He grabbed second-chance opportunities that kept possessions alive, drew five free throws and converted all of them, and posted a plus-9 for the night. When his shot isn't falling from three, he went 1-of-7 from deep, he finds other ways to matter. The Tentacles never found an answer for him on the boards.
The most efficient performance on either roster belonged to a Bullsnakes guard who went 5-of-7 from the field and 4-of-5 from three, finishing with 16 points, 2 steals, and zero turnovers in 22 minutes. That kind of precision off the bench is what separates winning teams from the rest; Omaha got exactly that. Another Bullsnakes forward added 16 points and 7 rebounds on 6-of-13 shooting, hitting the glass and draining 3-of-3 from the line to close possessions out.
Miami's top contributors had respectable individual nights that amounted to a losing collective effort. One guard posted 15 points and 5 assists on 5-of-10 shooting but finished at minus-21, the kind of number that tells the real story of how the Tentacles' lineups fared. A second Miami contributor scored 15 on 6-of-8 shooting in just over 17 minutes, though his minus-13 plus-minus underlined a broader structural problem: the Tentacles generated enough offense in spurts but couldn't string together stops when Omaha went on runs.
Omaha's victory was built on margin management, not a single dominant performance, which may actually be the more encouraging sign. The Bullsnakes finished plus-12 overall and spread it across their rotation. Miami will need to find a way to stay connected across four quarters, because individual talent was not the issue tonight.
